The staff at Byrd's is pleased to welcome you to one of the Natural State's best places for outdoor fun.

If adventure is what you want, Byrd's offers everything from hiking, biking, and extreme motor trails, to climbing, canoeing, and kayaking. Our nationally known certified instructors are available (by appointment only) to help you develop your skills.

To compliment our canoe rentals we offer shuttle services, river information and wet-suit rentals.

Byrd's campground has over 45 sites, many with electrical hookups and pavilions. There are dozens of primitive sites as well for the more rustic campers. The campground has restrooms with hot showers.

During your stay, book a tour to see herbs, historical sites, and scenic waterfalls. Byrd's is a great place to take the entire family for a few days of fun. You can spend a lazy day fishing, playing volleyball, or pick up a game of horseshoes. Cool off and go swimming in the river or ride a horse on our marked horse trails.
