36 Hour Course

The 36 hour course will take you through some of the most rugged and beautiful terrain of the Ozarks. You can expect incredible vistas, awesome single track and amazing whitewater as you navigate your way to the finish line. This race is not for the faint of heart - train hard. Up to 40 miles of mountain biking can be expected on a mix of single track, dirt roads, and fire roads. For the trekking and bushwhacking, expect up to 40 miles of intense yet rewarding terrain. Give your legs a rest with up to 20 miles of the best whitewater in Arkansas. Strong navigation skills are essential to perform well in this race. Expected winning time is 22 hours plus.

12 Hour Course

The 12 hour course will take you through some of the most rugged and beautiful terrain of the Ozarks. You can expect incredible vistas, awesome single track and amazing whitewater as you navigate your way to the finish line. This race is not for the faint of heart - train hard. Up to 20 miles of mountain biking can be expected on a mix of single track, dirt roads, and fire roads. For the trekking and bushwhacking, expect up to 15 miles of intense yet rewarding terrain. Give your legs a rest with up to 12 miles of the best whitewater in Arkansas. Strong navigation skills are essential to perform well in this race. Expected winning time is around eight hours.

REGISTRATION AND PRE-RACE MEETING

Registration will begin at 10:00am on Friday, the 26th and last until the pre-race meeting. The pre-race meeting will be at 7:30pm Friday night and is mandatory. Official race start time, location, course details and safety, maps, and other important info will be covered at the pre-race meeting.

USARA

All racers are required to purchase a one time $8 USARA license, or a $35 annual membership, at race registration. If you are already a member, please remember to bring your card.

The top four 4 person co-ed teams in the 36 hour race will qualify for the USARA National Championship race. The first place team will receive $400 toward their teams entry to nationals paid for by the Ozark Challenge.
